Washington Nationals vs Seattle Mariners Game Thread

After a Mariners blowout win to start the series, the Washington Nationals responded with one of their own, trouncing the M’s 9-0. The power was on full display, with four Nationals hitting homers, including Robert Hassell III, who hit the first home run of his young career.

With a right hander on the mound, the Nats are going to run out the same lineup they have used the past couple games. It is interesting to see Keibert Ruiz remain in the cleanup spot despite his recent struggles. On the mound, strikeout master MacKenzie Gore will look to build off his quality start last time out. Hopefully he gets more run support this time.

With a lefty on the mound for the Nats, the Mariners are making some tweaks to their lineup. Dylan Moore and Donovan Solano will re-enter the lineup. Interestingly, Jorge Polanco will stay at DH, despite not facing many lefties this season. Right hander Emerson Hancock will toe the slab in Seattle.
