After yet another blowout loss, the Washington Nationals need to get back on the horse and respond. It is time for this group to fight back and play with some pride. They need to start playing like their jobs are on the line because they are.
On the mound, the Nats are welcoming back a familiar face. Cade Cavalli made his first big league start in 2022. Now after plenty of bumps in the road, he is back in the big leagues to make his second start. Behind him, there will be some changes. Paul DeJong will get the call at second base. Robert Hassell III will replace Daylen Lile in right. Last, but not least, Riley Adams will be catching Cavalli.
After putting up 16 last night, the A’s are not changing much, because why would they. It is the same guys as last night, with only some slight modifications to the order. This group is one of the better young lineups in all of baseball. However, we will see a veteran on the mound in lefty Jeffrey Springs.
