Postseason Open Thread: October 17

We’ve got another two games tonight but we could potentially be seeing the NLCS ending by the end of the night. The Dodgers have gotten off to a 3-0 start in the NLCS and have the Brewers firmly on the ropes and ready to go down for the count. This is despite the fact that the Dodgers haven’t really gotten anything from Shohei Ohtani at any point during the Postseason so far — at the plate, at least. He’ll have a shot to deliver the finishing blow as part of LA’s pitching staff as he’ll be starting for Los Angeles tonight.

Meanwhile, we got ourselves a real series up North. The Blue Jays have won two straight games (in Seattle, no less) in convincing fashion in order to turn this series between Toronto and the Mariners into a three-game series to decide to who ends a lengthy AL Pennant drought. Can the Mariners come back to life and take advantage in this pivotal Game 5, or will the Blue Jays go back to Canada with a 3-2 lead? Let’s find out!
