October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Onix Pickleball is proud to support the fight by donating $10,000 to the IWIN Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals in Indiana who are battling breast cancer by providing emotional, physical, and financial assistance. This contribution is part of our broader commitment to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and contributing to life-saving research. Through our Paddle with a Purpose campaign, we aim to make a meaningful impact by encouraging our community to get involved.
To further our efforts, Onix is featuring a curated selection of our existing pink pickleball gear throughout the month of October. This collection includes paddles, bags, accessories, and more, all supporting the cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All pink items ship free for the entire month, and every purchase helps fund vital resources for individuals battling this disease. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
YoYo Monroe has taken this cause to heart. As a Team Onix pro, YoYo has gone above and beyond to lead grassroots efforts in her community. Throughout October, she is hosting multiple events and has brought together more than 40 women from both her home in New York and the various cities she travels to for pickleball.
Each participant has been invited to wear pink to show solidarity. YoYo has created personalized gift bags featuring Onix products and has personally collected donations from friends, family, fellow players, and even supporters who have been inspired by her social media presence. Every dollar raised is being donated to support breast cancer awareness and research, with 100 percent of the funds going directly to the cause.
These events were free for the participants. YoYo simply presented the idea, and the community rallied around her. Their collective support reflects the power of the pickleball community and the shared commitment to making a difference.
YoYo’s passion for the game and the brand is evident. She is widely recognized for her dedication to representing Onix at every event she attends whether on the court or off. From custom Onix sneakers and head-to-toe branded gear to creating original pickleball-themed emojis and writing articles about her travels, she finds creative ways to showcase Onix wherever she goes.
Known by many as “Ms. Onix,” YoYo is more than a player she is an ambassador for the sport and a leader in her community. Her work during Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a testament to her character and to the kind of difference our athletes can make.
