The Atlanta Braves are looking to turn around their poor performance thus far in away games as they take on the Toronto Blue Jays who have had a start to the season that may have surprised some fans.
The Blue Jays are currently in first place in the AL East in a division that is loaded with talent. The Jays will bring Easton Lucas to the mound for his third career start. He is a converted reliever who has yet to give up a run this year, and his underlying metrics show that his performance has not been a fluke.
Grant Holmes will be pitching for the Braves and although his 4.00 ERA is palatable, he has a 19.5 percent walk rate, which puts him in the worst 5.0 percent of qualified pitchers in that category. His results may hinge on his ability to limit walks or not.
