Football is officially over, and while basketball and hockey are still in full swing, this week marks the “start” of the baseball season as pitchers and catchers report across MLB. Of course, position players will likely arrive early as well, looking to get off to as early and productive of a start as possible.
And as has been the case in recent years, just because players are arriving to their respective camps to get ready for Spring Training, there are likely still plenty of moves to be made. Notable names remained unsigned, while there are plenty of potential trades that could be finalized at any times. With many teams still needing to check boxes when it comes to needs, it could be an eventful Spring Training in more ways than one.
