(23-26) Gwinnett Stripers @ (35-23) Nashville Sounds – 7:35 PM ET

Pitching Probables

GWI: Ian Anderson, 1-2 4.29 ERA

NSH: Tobias Myers, 0-2 3.09 ERA

Ian Anderson looks to get the Stripers back into the win column after their 6-2 defeat yesterday. In his last start, Ian lasted four innings and gave up three earned runs while striking out two and walked five. On the season Ian is 1-2 with a 4.29 ERA, with a 7.71 K/9, and 6.75 BB/9 rate. Players to watch for the Stripers include the likely top four of the lineup: Jarred Kelenic (.652 OPS), Eddys Leonard (.714 OPS), Carlos Rodríguez (.693 OPS), and James McCann (.815 OPS).

(23-26) Columbus Clingstones @ (25-28) Pensacola Blue Wahoos – 7:05 PM ET

Pitching Probables

COL: Lucas Braun, 3-1 4.08 ERA

PNS: Evan Fitterer, 2-4 3.40 ERA

Columbus look to build off yesterday’s win and turn to Lucas Braun to get it done. Lucas is coming off of one of his best starts as he lasted six innings and gave up four hits and just one earned run. On the season Lucas has a 4.08 ERA with a 7.98 K/9 while walking just 1.53 per nine. A lot of the heavy lifting yesterday was by Ian Mejia who had another fantastic outing for the Clingstones as the offense combined for just four hits. Players to watch include Ethan Workinger (.792 OPS), David McCabe (.734 OPS), the surging Drew Compton (.707 OPS), and Geraldo Quintero (.779 OPS).

(27-26) Rome Emperors @ (26-27) Greenville Drive – 6:45 PM ET

ROM: Logan Samuels, 0-1 3.75 ERA

GRN: Max Carlson, 2-1 4.39 ERA

The Rome Emperors fresh off of a 4-1 over the Drive yesterday turn to Logan Samuels to keep the fun times going. Logan is coming off a start where he pitched three innings and gave up three hits and zero runs. On the season, Logan has a 2.55 ERA with a 7.35 K/9 and 2.80 BB/9 rate. He’s been the jack of all trades for the pitching staff as he’s started some games, worked as a reliever, and even picked up a save. Behind him is the Rome offense that was led by EJ Exposito yesterday as he went 2-for-4 with a homer and double. On the season EJ is now hitting .246 with a .798 OPS. Other players to watch include Patrick Clohisy (.717 OPS), Will Verdung (.742 OPS), Titus Dumitru (.663 OPS), and Ambioris Tavarez (.693 OPS).

(29-24) Fayetteville Woodpeckers @ (28-23) Augusta GreenJackets – 7:05 PM ET

AUG: Owen Hackman, 1-3 5.13 ERA

The GreenJackets turn to Owen Hackman to get them back on track after a 5-4 loss to the Woodpeckers yesterday. Owen is coming off one of the best outings of the season as he gave up just one hit over three innings against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. There are quite a few players to watch for the GreenJackets including John Gil (.653 OPS), Owen Carey (.743 OPS), Isaiah Drake (.766 OPS), and Colby Jones (.627 OPS). Nick Montgomery, the Braves fifth round draft pick is also someone to watch should he play today.

(8-14) FCL Braves @ (13-9) FCL Twins – 12:00 PM ET

The FCL Braves take on the Twins in their 23rd game of the season. There are quite a few players to be aware of on the FCL team including: Jose Perdomo, Juan Mateo, Junior Garcia, Carlos Monteverde, Mario Baez, Luis Parababire, and Manuel Dos Passos who has opened eyes defensively.

While there are no stand our performers in the DSL through two games there are still plenty of players to keep tabs of including the top international signing of the last signing period, Diego Tornes. Juan Espinal is another big bonus player that the Braves have high hopes for offensively.
