Atlanta Braves News: All-Star break, draft signing tracker, more

We are truly in the “break” part of the All-Star break now, but we continue to track the Braves’ draft pick signings. The Braves are in need of a near miracle to get into the playoffs at this point, over halfway into the season. Meanwhile, the trade deadline is rapidly approaching and the Braves seem likely to sell, adding even more prospects to a system that could use them. The extent to which they sell will be interesting, ahead of what could be a very interesting situation, with likely significant flux on the coaching staff, the shortstop situation, the catcher surplus, and a decision on Ozzie Albies’ future with the club, among others.
