There is something about a player’s bobblehead day that can bring out the best in them. Minnesota Twins All-Star outfielder Byron Buxton proved that again on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
With a 427-foot home run to center field in the bottom of the seventh inning, Buxton completed his first career cycle.
It’s the Twins’ first cycle since 2019 and the first one to ever be hit at Target Field. It also happened on Buxton’s bobblehead day.
