Washington Nationals vs Cleveland Guardians double header game thread

With the game last night rained out, The Nats and Guardians are playing a double header this afternoon and evening. With only half an hour between games, we will only do one game thread today. We will make updates about the second game as we go along.

The Nationals are going to have the same lineup they had set to go for last night. That means Alex Call will hit second and play left, while James Wood DH’s. Jose Tena will also get a chance to play against his old team. Jake Irvin will be on the mound after a rough start where his velocity was down.

The Guardians have the same order as they were supposed to have as well. However, Kyle Manzardo will play first base, while Carlos Santana DH’s. We will not see old friend Lane Thomas, who is on the IL with a wrist injury. Luis Ortiz will take the mound in game one for the Guardians.
