After a masterclass by Cade Cavalli and Jose A. Ferrer, the Nats have a chance to win a four game series against the Phillies. However, they will have to do it in a very early game, which has been their kryptonite.
The lineup is… interesting. Luis Garcia Jr. will lead off and DH. Paul DeJong will play first base for the first time in his career. Jose Tena and Drew Millas will also get rare starts. With no James Wood, this Nats lineup is unique. Mitchell Parker will take the ball for the Nats.
The Phillies will have a much more familiar lineup. That Turner, Schwarber, Harper combination will be unchanged at the top of the lineup. Alec Bohm is back in the fold at the cleanup spot. Weston Wilson will get a rare start in left. We will also see backup catcher Rafael Marchan for the first time this series. Aaron Nola will make his first start since May 14th.

Taking three out of four from the Phillies would be a massive statement for the Nats. They have been playing a lot harder lately and this would be a great reward for that increased effort. Feel free to comment about all things Nats baseball down below.
